The department of Industrial Management and Logistics conducts undergraduate education, postgraduate education and research. Undergraduate education is provided for the majority of education programs at LTH in basic economics and management, while advanced courses are primarily given for the programs for Industrial Economics and Mechanical Engineering in the areas of Logistics, Production Management and Business & Innovation.

The department is also the main provider of courses for the international master's program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.Postgraduate education is conducted in the field of Industrial Economics.The research is largely grant-financed, but we also conduct contract research, with the aim of contributing new knowledge, primarily in logistics and production economics.The Department of Industrial Management and Logistics was established in 2001 and consists of the divisions Engineering Logistics and Production Management. The department belongs to the technical faculty at Lund University (LTH) and is located in the M-Building at Kemicentrum.
